The Rig finale

No one remembers when the Rigs first appeared. At first, people thought they were just broken machines… abandoned humanoid shells left behind by some unknown experiment. But the ones who wandered too far into the facility learned the truth. They moved. Slowly at first. Watching. Waiting. The Rigs weren't alive… but they weren't dead either. Their hollow bodies twisted and snapped as they chased anyone who entered the complex. Their empty faces stared with something that felt almost human.
