A bacterium of unknown origins, named "Phytophage", arrived on Earth a few months ago via a comet. It has begun consuming all plant life at a rapid pace, eradicating entire species in the process. You and others have decided that for humanity to survive, they must venture out into the dark void. You only have a limited time before the infection destroys the ecosystem and all life on Earth.
