Nullification [BETA] *ABYSS EXPANSION*

The world once consisted of near-infinite islands floating in an endless cosmic liquid called The Abyss. The Abyss used these stolen souls to create Vessels. The Vessels popped the protective island bubbles that kept the Abyss at bay. Without these protective barriers, the islands withered and fractured over billions of years into shattered chunks called Island Remnants. Over 99% of all life and islands have already been entirely wiped out. If the final remaining islands fall, the Abyss will achieve total reality nullification. Humanity once possessed ultra-futuristic technology. However, the last major resource mining and trading hub island was destroyed, cutting off access to the materials needed to build or sustain it. As a result, civilization regressed. Some remaining islands were completely reclaimed by nature, while others rely on apocalyptic, rusty, patchwork machinery crafted entirely out of the scrap metal and leftover parts of humanity's forgotten golden age.
