SITE THRESHOLD Founded in 1982, the ASYNC Research Institute was established as a private scientific organization dedicated to the study of spatial instability, non-Euclidean architecture, and dimensional anomalies. After years of classified experimentation, ASYNC successfully established contact with an undocumented environment existing beyond conventional reality. To contain and study this discovery, the organization constructed a highly restricted research facility known as SITE THRESHOLD. Originally intended as a secure observation and containment site, the facility soon became the center of countless unexplained incidents. Endless corridors. Shifting architecture. Impossible geometry. Entire sectors extending beyond measurable space. Communication failures, missing personnel, temporal inconsistencies, and unidentified phenomena became increasingly common as deeper expeditions were authorized. Every new operation uncovered more questions than answers.
