Archdiocesan Cathedral of the Holy Trinity

The Archdiocesan Cathedral of the Holy Trinity is a Neo-Byzantine Greek Orthodox church on Manhattan’s Upper East Side (East 74th Street). It serves as the national cathedral of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America and the seat of the Archbishop. Built in 1931–32 with a Romanesque Revival red-brick and limestone exterior, its interior features rich Byzantine mosaics, Botticino marble, Italian stained glass, and a painted dome with traditional iconography. It is one of the largest and most important Eastern Orthodox churches in the Western Hemisphere.
