U.S. Army Aviation Center, Fort Rucker Alabama

Fort Rucker was the U.S. Army's primary aviation training installation during the Vietnam War, where thousands of helicopter pilots, crew chiefs, and aviation personnel trained before deploying to Southeast Asia. It served as the home of the Army Aviation School and played a key role in preparing aviators to fly aircraft such as the UH-1 Huey, OH-6A Loach, AH-1G Cobra, and CH-47 Chinook.
