Batman: Arkham Asylum

Arkham Asylum, officially known as the Elizabeth Arkham Asylum for the Criminally Insane, is set in Gotham City, housing criminals deemed mentally unfit or criminally insane, including many of Batman’s iconic foes such as the Joker and Two-Face. The asylum was founded by Amadeus Arkham in 1921 on the grounds of the Arkham family mansion, which was later expanded into a full psychiatric facility with multiple wings, a penitentiary, and botanical gardens
