About & history
Welcome to Kalamazoo! This place represents my best shot at making a game! Most buildings have been custom made to replicate real-life buildings from Kalamazoo County, MI, south of I-94 and east of US-131. More will come as time goes on, and I hope to model as many buildings as possible! Lighting in all buildings is taken care of thanks to folks at ATOM and Relcot, they really make great products. Now, sirens: Tests of the Outdoor Warning Siren System are conducted on the first Saturday of the month at 1 PM Eastern Time. Tests consist of 1 minute of "Alert". Only some of the installs respect lore. Sirens are activated via Commander Standalone (SS2000+R) at the Township Hall, and currently it is a one-way system. Service on the system is completed by West Shore Services out of Allendale, MI. Currently, there are 3 sirens on the system. The only one that is lore accurate is the FS Model 5 at Station 13-1. Also, HUGE thanks to MoSiren for all the help on this game! Please enjoy!
