Explore a real-data simulation of a fruit fly nervous system inside Roblox. Built using FlyWire v783 connectome data and inspired by the open-source Desktop Fly project, this experience transforms the mapped nervous system of an adult fruit fly into an interactive 3D simulation. Explore 139,255 classified neurons and approximately 3.87 million connection records. Navigate through the connectome, inspect individual neurons, watch signals propagate across the network, and excite or inhibit selected cells to influence the fly’s behavior. Observe how neural activity affects walking, turning, grooming, sensing, and flight.
