Bunker 13: Cryptid County

Something opened over Harlan County, and everything that ever lived in a story came through. Now you run a bunker under it, and the county above pays a lot better than the bunker ever will — if you can get back down alive. There are 52 cryptids up there, from folklore, mythology, and the internet: the Wendigo, the Mothman, the Rake, the Hat Man, the Umibōzu rising out of flat water at night. Not all of them want to kill you. Some will talk to you, and a few have things they want done — a selkie who wants her coat back, a mermaid who's lost her friends, a fox that asks riddles. Build up your bunker, buy better gear, get a boat and a truck, dive the drowned town, and bank your scrap before dark.
