Pi Generator

π, calculated live This game continuously generates the digits of pi in real time, one digit at a time. There is no precomputed list and no periodic recalculation of larger and larger chunks. Instead, the game uses a stateful unbounded spigot algorithm together with custom arbitrary-precision integer arithmetic written entirely in Luau. The calculation runs incrementally alongside the game, using a time-budgeted processing loop to avoid large computation spikes. Generated digits are buffered and streamed to the display at a controlled rate, allowing the calculation to continue for as long as the server can handle it. The further it progresses, the larger the internal numbers become - meaning the computation gradually becomes more demanding over time. This project is primarily a showcase of backend and systems programming in Roblox. There is no saved progress and no precomputed digits. It's just the server continuously calculating π for as long as it remains alive.
