Lights Out at Harbor Point

Harbor Point, 1987. The power went out three nights ago. You and up to three others take the ferry out to the island with one battery and a rule: keep the lights on. Carry the battery from building to building, wire it in, and watch each one flicker back to life. The lamps keep the fog off you. They don't keep it off you. Something tall walks the island after dark. It can't see you if you're hidden, and it learns what your voice sounds like. Survive five nights. If you make it to dawn, the Morning Star will be waiting at the dock.
