THE TENANT

You're not being hunted. You're being studied. You wake up alone in a dark, storm-battered house with no memory of how you got there. Something else lives here, and it isn't interested in chasing you. It's interested in understanding you. How it works; Find the fuse, find the keys, restart the generator, and escape through the front door. You have a dying flashlight, and you can sneak, sprint, hold your breath, and hide. That's it. You can't fight back, and you don't need to learn anything more complicated than that. What makes it different The Tenant watches everything you do and remembers it. Always hide in closets? One day it's already waiting inside. Always sprint through the same hallway? It's standing at the end of it. It replays your own footsteps and breathing back at you, closes doors you just opened, and leaves notes in your handwriting that you never wrote. The more predictable you are, the more dangerous it becomes.
