Start with a small shed, two docks and a short roller line. Trucks roll in from the city full of packages. Unload them, put the stock away, pick and pack the orders, and get them back on a truck before they're late. Conveyors go down in one drag. Add pop-up sorters, pushers and turntables, set the scanners and filters, and watch every package find its own way out. Fill the aisles with shelving, flow racks and bot racks. Hire Pickers, Packers and Dock Hands to do the walking, then swap them for robots once you can afford it. Ship on time and your reputation grows, which brings bigger clients and bigger fees. Late orders pay less. Frozen goods need a walk-in freezer, so plan for that too. The shed becomes a Distribution Shed, then a Regional DC, a Fulfillment Center and finally the Automated Mega Hub: four floors of machines you designed. Research keeps running while you're offline.
