Crank It!

Your first shift starts at the bottom of a mine. The lift is your only shelter. You are not alone down here. Gordon, your supervisor, shows you the ropes and then leaves you to it. Get the lift’s terminal working again, CRANK batteries by hand, and listen with your field microphone for anything creeping up the tunnels. When it gets too close, hit it with the lights before it reaches you. Every flash drains a battery, and something down here likes to steal them. * Crank, charge, and swap batteries under pressure * Read the decibel meter: it hears whatever is in the tunnel you’re facing. * Turn fast between four tunnels; they can come from any side * Get through the terminal’s tasks: BOORDLE, a human-verification test, and door calibration. * Two endings.
