Pompeii

August, 79 AD. Pompeii is a busy Roman town at the foot of a quiet mountain. By nightfall, it will be gone. Explore a historically accurate Pompeii rebuilt street by street: painted houses, the forum market, the amphitheatre, the harbour and the villas outside the walls. Then Vesuvius erupts. Loot what you can carry, but every coin weighs you down. Pumice rains from a black sky, roofs give way under the ash, and glowing stones smash through anything they hit. Gates are blocked by rubble and overturned carts. Fill your lamp, soak a cloth to breathe, and find a way out. Run for the city gates, pay a boatman at the harbour, or race the coast road to Herculaneum. When the glowing cloud comes down the mountain, only one thing matters: be gone. ✦ A full eruption in real time ✦ Destruction everywhere ✦ Escape routes that change every round ✦ Real history of 79 AD
