After the Solar War, the Andartan Plains were a war-torn land, rife with poverty and with death at every turn. Although the Hirogen were defeated, the Andartan natives were the ones who truly lost. In recognition of their sacrifice, the Avius ordered a grand palace to be erected in commemoration of the many lives and livlihoods lost in the war.
