The SS Calvin was built in France by the France Atlantic Line. Starting off with a successful maiden voyage, From France to New York. During its IO th voyage it hit a small fishing boat off the coast of Ireland, Sinking the boat although everyone on it survived. It was favoured by the wealthy as it was luxurious and un crowded giving it the nickname The Billionaire's Ship. It hit a group of submerged rocks on its II th voyage and sank near France
