Euphrates River

This showcase is of the Euphrates River, a river that travels through Turkey, Iraq, and Syria. The Euphrates river was one of 2 rivers that made up Mesopotamia, which means "between two rivers." The other river is the Tigris river. Ancient Mesopotamia was a cradle of civilization, as it had good soil which made it possible to plant crops for food and trade. The 2 rivers also helped travel by boat to other places much faster, and boats can carry much more than people. The inspiration for this project was drawn from the Ancient Mesopotamia song by Mr. Nicky.
