Proud to be Dutch

The Dutch are heavily uncredited for what they did in history. The Dutch are the only ones who attacked London on foot, under command of Admiral De Ruyter. The Dutch too crushed all major powers, in 1672 the kingdoms of Europe couldn't stand the Dutch Republic, they wanted it to have a King. So France, Great Britan and Prussia attacked Holland, the Dutch held all the 3 off, crushing their armies. The Dutch made New York City, under the name "New Amsterdam". But then the British came and occupied it, then giving us Suriname instead and claiming they the city The Dutch discovered and had South Africa, under the name "Kaap de Goeie Hoop". It supplied Dutch VOC Ships on their way to Asia. Till the British took it and claimed they discovered it. The Dutch discovered Australia, calling it "New Holland". But then again the British came and occupied it, claiming they discovered it. There are a lot more important historical things the Dutch are uncredited for.
