Peace, whatever it takes

"Peace, whatever it takes" A vignette by EberhardModel. For over two months already, the United States Marines have fought at multiple islands in the Pacific to capture and secure them. Many Marines and Japanese soldiers died not only because of the gunfights that were going on, but also the so called: Jungle Fever, or let's say... Malaria. It's a terrible disease... none of the soldiers (both Marines & Japanese) wanted a War, yet still had to fight because the orders had to be listened to. The Axis Powers that fought for dictatorship for their leaders, while the Allies Powers fought for Freedom and liberation. Still the Japanese "Soldiers" wanted the same... freedom. They felt the War was already over. They felt the same way the Marines used to have. "Such cruel world, such cruel war at what cost?
