"Welcome to Combat Universes. All timelines, alternate or true, merge here. But the timelines here are unique, you see... they are where the characters go when they're not in use in a copy of their game. Why you ask? Well... a few powerful characters (due to some unsafe late-night activates) decided to see what they could do with their combined powers... which ended up tearing the fabric of this reality and leading to the escape of a very important person. Due to the nature of that person's being, the timelines were fused due to them being in every timeline at once. Creating a corruption that is slowly growing. Pulling more in over time."
