A group of civilians volunteered the medical procedure to enter the simulation. They were put into a coma to enter the simulation in the year 2047. After they travel into the simulation the whole environment changes due to a glitch in the system. NPCs become glitched, making them very friendly and too protective generated people that kill you by mistake unexpectedly. It's why they can be very dangerous. The city becomes coated with a rocky dome. The portal closes and they remain stuck inside the simulation. They have no contact to the outside world. It's a battle for survival. They need to survive each stage and other tests. Stage one: Someone dies due to a glitch and turns into a mutated blue eyed monster for the entire simulation. Stage two: Walls (Giant blue rays) enter the simulation. They close and whoever gets left behind gets crushed on the other side. Stage three: NPCs become too protective and can kill you unexpectedly. It's very dangerous to be spotted by one.
