About & history
Yaltsvanna, meaning the 'Old Fort of the South' in old Traorin, is a small hamlet based on, and around an ancient tribal fort. It is located in the northeast of Kalkor, bordering Traor. The fort was created by a native lord by the name of Helgrath in 283 BE, and changed hands over time between native chiefs of Traor and Kalkor alike. In 18 AE it was razed and left abandoned by Erik Thaller, whose army continued south to subjugate Kalkor. An army outpost was eventually erected nearby, and in 147 AE during the reign of King Kanyur, Baron Trogsbane sent for the proper materials to rebuild Yaltsvanna. As of October 2020, the year is 210 AE, Despite Kanyur influence dying out in the region decades ago, the land is still maintained by the locals, as well as the Army who has a small garrison stationed on the border.
