This establishment is used to farm nopales for the only source of income during the mass immigration of American civilians from 1926-1937. The great depression still taking a toll on the land, a lot of civilians resorted to farming within the sands of Northern Mexico, becoming a fundamental culture aspect to Mexico to this date.
