About & history
The S.S. Dakota, built in 1910, was a small ship, no more than just 3,250 GRT, designed to run a minor route between Brunswick and Liverpool. She was launched in late February of 1910 and delivered in November of 1910. In 1917, she was converted into one of three U.S. hospital ships at the US's entry into WW1, and was sunk later that year.
