The Warm war

In 1989 the Soviet Union grew tired of waiting and ended the cold war by launching nuclear warheads at the United states. This started what is known to be the warm war. By the time the mushroom clouds were consuming major cities in America a barrage of warheads coming from all over the world were already on their way to Russia. That was 5 months ago, the radiation seems to have life. If you are to get out of that cramped bunker and explore you would find that there are still people out there, some are survivors like you seeking refugee, some are raiders who aim to kill and steal, some are soviets attempting to replace what is now a huge smoking crater formerly known to them as the motherland with a less-smokey crater, some aren't even human.
