Engagements Around Hue, January - February, 1968 (This game uses the ACS System) In late January, units from the PAVN and NLF had begun besieging the city of Hue. In the following weeks, elements of the USMC began breaking through the defensive perimeters in an attempt to relieve the city. This engagement became known as the Battle of Hue.
