Armarow Parish, LA Siren Testing

Welcome to Armarow Parish, Louisiana! A 602 square mile parish known for its rich agricultural heritage. Here you can test outdoor warning sirens systems installed up to real standards in a realistic environment. Sirens test automatically every Saturday at 12 PM Central Time! Backstory: After the November 24, 2010, EF4 devastated the parish, a FEMA grant allowed for the parish to receive an early warning system, American Signal Corporation won the bid. New 121 decibel omnidirectional sirens were places along the county with the range to blanket the entire Parish. Later testing proved the sirens to perform inadequately. As of June 2026, Omniwarn was contracting to perform extensive upgrades on the failing system with Federal Signal equipment and software. Thanks to everyone involved in making this project happen.
