Apocalyptic Scenarios

Technology advances have led to the creation of a device that is able to capture what you see, think and dream, this device is inserted through the brain and it is only removed upon death. The placing of this device is optional to all citizens as some people have protested about it as a "Government spying device". The price of the procedure is absolutely free, no strings attached. ---[ ---|--- ]--- The first infected taught their descendants to not trust humanity, claiming they were gonna be used as weapons and a cure and then disposed of. While that was true, the descendants began spreading rumors which then from distrust began to become hate. This hate has led to obliteration of almost if not all humans. Some speculate they live in bunkers, some living in the shadows, some fighting for their survival. It is uncertain if those theories are true, the only bit of proof that humanity has ever existed is in recordings captured from a weird device.
