Saydabad District

c. 2026 Once a peaceful getaway for the residents of Kabul, Saydabad District has become one of the most heavily contested regions in Wardak Province. Years of conflict between Afghan government forces and insurgent groups have left much of the district in ruins. Destroyed buildings, abandoned checkpoints, and damaged roads now cover what was once a thriving town. In an effort to restore stability, Kabul Garrison Command has deployed forces from the City of Kabul itself, supported by helicopter units and airborne commandos. Kabul Police forces have also been deployed to train and advise the local regional police in a modernization program focused on improving security and maintaining order throughout the district.
