Breaking Bad Simulator

jesse we need to bake crystal candy 2 cups sugar 1/2 water 3/4 corn syrup (light) 2 tsp clear flavoring extract (optional) 1-2 drops blue food coloring 1. Spray baking sheet with non stick cooking spray 2. In a medium sauce pan, combine ingredients (except food coloring) and place in pot over medium-high heat. Stir until sugar dissolves. (Optional: Brush sides of pot with a wet pastry brush to prevent sugar crystals from forming) 3. Continue to boil until candy thermometer until 290F. Take pot off stove and let cool. Combine in blue food coloring, and stir. 4. Pour candy onto baking sheet. Aim for a thin layer. Let it set until room temperature 5. Once set, break the candy into small pieces. Enjoy :)
