About
Bee Park Orginally opened in 1972 with Dillard's, JJ's & Co, and Montgomery Ward. Over the years the mall had changes. In 1985 Stein Mart along with a 12 screen movie theater and newly carpeted flooring in the mall was added. In 2000 Montgomery Ward had a fire impacting a quarter of the store leaving the section of the store unsafe and closed. A year following the incident Montgomery Ward ended up closing. Currently in 2002 the mall is celebrating 30 years of being open.
