Recommened to play on PC for better controls + overall better gameplay
The base sword isn't there just to be as a last resort, it occasionally has higher damage than some primary weapons, use this to your advantage, even though the weapons damage was nerfed compared to the first game it still makes for a good weapon.
weapon skills depend FULLY on the weapon your using, so don't be annoyed when the controls say Z for a keybind and the weapon doesn't have it, not all weapons use Z for skills→Proelium is a PVP Randomizer, Similar to things like "Gun Game", "Item Asylum", and "Allusions", meaning upon every life, you get two random weapons, a Primary, and a Secondary.
