About & history
"The conflict lasted two years." The Long Surrender is a community semi-roleplay MilSim group set in an alternate universe during the late 90s, where an extraterrestrial force launches a full-scale invasion of Earth. Operations take place across unstable and contested environments where frontlines are unclear and conditions are constantly shifting. Intelligence is limited, support is unreliable, and units are often required to operate independently for extended periods. Frontlines could not be established. Engagement zones shifted unpredictably, with entire regions going dark without confirmed cause. Units deployed into affected areas frequently failed to report back.
