Albany Mall 2024

Built and opened in 1972 as Albany Center as a shopping center. Renovations were done to turn Albany Center into an enclosed shopping mall known as Albany Mall in 1978. The anchors were Sears, JCPenney, and Bradlees. The mall was sold to GGP Realty Group in 1990. In 2001, Bradlees closed. In 2016, Sears closed. The mall is pretty dead, but still is identical to the 1970's.
