About & history
Stealth — Thorpe Park Stealth is a high-speed launch roller coaster at Thorpe Park in Surrey, England. It is famous for its incredibly powerful launch, accelerating riders from 0 to approximately 128 km/h (80 mph) in just 2.3 seconds. After the launch, the train climbs a 62-metre-tall hill before speeding through the rest of the short but intense track. The ride is designed to focus on speed, acceleration, and strong feelings of weightlessness. Stealth opened in 2006 and was manufactured by Intamin. Its huge top-hat element and rapid launch make it one of the most recognisable attractions at Thorpe Park.
