The Ignalina nuclear power plant or Ignalinos AE (Atomine Elektrine) is a Lithuanian twin unit nuclear power plant situated beside a town called Visignas, which lies nearby the Belarusian and Latvian border. It is also the only nuclear power plant to exist in Lithuania and it’s often regarded as the most powerful nuclear power plant ever built at that time.
