About & history
Nickname: Pennsylvania, 1967 Chartered back in 1832, the Strasburg Rail Road is North America's oldest operating short-line after being saved from abandonment in 1958, making it over 190 years old today! But have you ever wondered what the SRC looked like back in time? Well.. Allow us to take you on a train ride through the wonderful Dutch country of Pennsylvania but we're back in May of 1967! Where you can witness a selection of old antique locomotives put on a show, some of which may not be operating anymore. From the grand no. 1223 to little no. 4, let us take you on a beautiful trip to Paradise and back, where you may even see some old Pennsylvania Railroad engines pass by. Don't be stupid. You should know the basic rules of a operations game.
