Frozen History

Another one of my visual poetry places, similar to "Out out brief candle!". I've finally finished it, and I'm very proud of this place. I hope you love it too! Frozen History O' murky lake, thou unfathomable depths/ What hopes lay frozen beneath your surface/ What monsters do you hide/ I peer into your depths- but I can only glean so much/ All things have roots in you, O' murky lake/ Will anyone ever know your true expanse, your unfathomable depths? In case it's hard to figure out, the poem is talking about history, and the past. How it's frozen behind us.
