About & history
It's 1885, the peak of the Basin Republic's strength. The Nez Perce and Spokane are at war with the Federals. One of the worst summers in Washington Territory history, reaching at most 112°F. Cheyellup is becoming more and more "civilized" and Valentine is in its infancy. Federal support from Seattle is near because of the dire situation in the east. Oregon State and Idaho Territory have recently been attacked by the insurgents, and their militias are mobilizing to wipe out the insurgents.
