Winston Salem Fairgrounds Annex (2024)

The Winston-Salem Fairgrounds Annex is a 4,000-seat multi-purpose, 28,000 square foot arena in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Built in 1989, it was formerly home to the following hockey teams: Twin City Cyclones, Winston-Salem Icehawks, Winston-Salem Mammoths, Winston-Salem Polar Twins, Winston-Salem T-Birds, and Carolina Thunderbirds. It also serves as an occasional concert and entertainment venue, hosting Bob Dylan on occasions, in 1991 and 2002, Wiz Khalifa in 2011, Tiesto in 2010, TNA Wrestling, and Swan Lake in 2014 to name a few. This facility was my first build during college and opened on February 22, 2024.
