Built in 1678 by a family of fabric exporters was later sold to the Dampierre family in 1812, where the manor had a major renovation, becoming the largest british country house with an outstanding 23.000sqm of interior space and 84 acres of private garden. Nowadays is still used by the Dampierre family as a holiday residence. Current Owner: Mathieu Dampierre De Borbon
