About & history
In early 1879, the Texan forces and the US forces would meet at a battle near Coldwater Creek, Texas. The US deployed 3 regiments against local Texan reserves and militia. The US would conduct a central assault into the Texan forces positioned near the creek. The Texans would organize into a defense line, like a line. After multiple attacks, the US would manage to disorganize the center of the Texan defense line, and the Texan flanks would flee in fear and panic. The battle resulted in heavy casualties for the US forces and small casualties for the Texan forces. Last words of Colonel Fartington, "I'm about to blow-" Fartington then died due to a musket ball hitting him near the heart. Remember the 28th Indiana!
