Korengal Valley, Afghanistan

The Korangal Valley campaign was a series of military operations conducted by ISAF forces against the insurgents in 2004-2010. The Korangal Valley, also known as the "Valley of Death" is a valley in eastern Afghanistan its located near the border with Pakistan. The valley was the site of some of the deadliest battles between the US-led coalition forces and the insurgents during the War on Terror.
