Bates High School

Home of the Stingers. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ School year 1978-1979 ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Thomas Bates Consolidated High School is a historic high school located at Bates Avenue in Chamberlain, Maine. The school provides 9th to 12th grade education to students coming from Junior High School and Kennedy High School. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ The original Bates High School, built in 1935, was destroyed almost to its’ foundation on May 25th, 1979, during a massive fire that engulfed the gymnasium. Since then, the school was rebuilt somewhere else in Chamberlain, where it also served as a high school.
