About
This branch line used to come off the West Coast Mainline to primarily transport Iron ore to the furnaces at the small town of Yeoville. The branchline is wound in and out of by the river, which caused an inconvenience for those who initially built the line. The line closed in 1978 and a section was reopened by the HVHR volunteers in 2024. Volunteers are always needed so just contact me if you are interested.
