Constructed in the 1830s by Pedro Pezerát, the estate and plantation owned by Empress EpixInvicta is located a short distance outside of the capital of Rio de Janeiro. Other than being used to grow cash crops to help fund the government, the estate is often used to host domestic nobility and foreign diplomats in get togethers, parties, and official meetings.
