The Imperial Base Camp is located in the Eastern Ice Shelf on the planet of Ilum. Ilum is a planet with a not-so-hospitable arctic landscape and is located in the "Unknown Regions." It was once used by the Jedi to collect kyber crystals, but is now held in Imperial hands.
