thinkingParticles is essentially Cebas’s main VFX tool, and it’s the kind of plugin you use when you want to create really wild computer generated effects in 3ds Max. It’s built for procedural particle work, so instead of animating every explosion, chunk, or spark by hand, you can create systems that handle things like destruction, debris, smoke, dust, fire, liquids, shockwaves, and all those messy, physics driven details. What’s especially cool is that it’s not limited to a single effect; when following a director’s vision, you can build entire chained events.
